I have changed from Comp Cams roller lifters to Scorpion roller lifters.
They appear to be much better and so far have not given me any trouble.
I also changed valve springs to increase the spring pressures by 60 lbs. or so.
I will be resetting the installed height to add another 30 lbs. this Winter.
Right now they are about 160/330. I have another .085 to go before I get within .090 of coil bind.
The audio clip above is with the old lifters, valve springs and tires.
With the new lifters and valve springs I can shift at 6300 with no float.
I went from 225/60/14 to 285/40/17 tires. What an improvement in traction!
